Position Summary: Works with suppliers and program team to ensure equipment/tooling is delivered on time, meeting all specifications including within budget. Responsible for improvement of tooling and processes.
Essential Job Functions include, but not limited to, the following:
· Attend new program feasibility review and develop VSM for Steel/Alumunium part on forming & machining processes
· Complete tooling/equipment/process quotes for new program on time.
· Develop tooling/equipment to support the process of new launched programs;
· Conduct tooling/equipment maturation actiticties.
· Ensure tooling/equipment is delivered on time and consistent with Shape build requirements.
· Conduct tooling continuous improvement during launching phase and after SOP.
· Oversee processes for continuous improvement.
· Maintain good working relationship with suppliers, production team and program team.
· Identify and train a back-up(s) to manage key tasks when absent.
· Additional functions not specifically outlined in this position description as directed by the leader.

· 5+ years experience in tooling engineering on steel or Aluminium
· Bachelors of Science or Related Field preferred
· Experience with Auto CAD, 3D software (solidworks, Proe) experience is a plus
· Results orientated, and multi task individual
· Understand steel/Aluminum froming, machining processes. Heat treat knowledge is a plus
· Troubleshooting skills
· GD&T experience
· Spoken and written English skills
