nnPosition Summary: The Program Manager II is responsible for managing a Core / Cross-Functional Team to ensure successfulprogram execution and launch throughout product life cycle. Responsible for facilitating the Shape Program Management Process(SPMP) and Engineering Change Processes (PCR/ECN) to ensure Customer Satisfaction, Production Readiness, and PPAP’s on time.Act as the primary customer interface on all assigned programs.nnEssential Job Functions include, but not limited to, the following: Act as the primary customer interface / single point of contact in the local region. Define and manage the scope of the Program on behalf of the company and its suppliers. Creates, maintains, and executes Program / Project Plan (timeline). Report monthly to Customer and Management the Program / Project status (Program Reviews). Lead and support Engineering Change Management process. Initiates and conducts Core / Cross-Functional Team meetings to ensure Program / Project is on time and all Customerrequirements and internal issues are being addressed in an efficient manner. Lead Core / Cross-Functional Team in the achievement of common goals / objectives (Key Performance Indicators /Measurables – Cost, Timing, Quality, etc). Creates and maintains Program / Project open issues (PDCA, SLI, RIO etc.) deck, including daily priority setting (Top 5) Anticipate risks and develop mitigation / convergence plans. Engage Senior Management where appropriate to ensure successful Launch of Programs / Projects and installations. Direct internal and external build (Vehicle, System etc.) activities throughout the Program Development Cycle, including Fit &Finish (Cubing / QAF) events, etc. Ensure strict adherence to the Program Management guidelines (Customer Standards), including preparation for ProgramGate Reviews. Supervise Quality Engineers, along with other functional Engineers as requested. Conduct timely and meaningful performance evaluations for direct reports and provide input into the performance evaluationsof associates reporting under your indirect supervision. Assess current and future development needs for direct reports and take steps to mentor and develop them accordingly. Assist Sales in the development and preparation of Annual Budgets and Strategic Plans. Assist Sales in the development and preparation of Month / Quarter / Semester based R&D Forecast. Ensure Programs / Projects are adhering to established Budgets via regimented monitoring / forecasting of R&D P&L andCash Flow. Ensure critical Launch Performance Indicators (Kick-Off of System / Equipment / Tool, Functional Check Out, Run@Rate,PPAP, etc.) are achieved. Develops Launch Support Plan. Identify and train a back-up(s) to manage key tasks when absent. Demonstrates the successful management / execution of three (3) Medium – High Risk / Complex Development Projects,including strict adherence to Cost / Timing / Quality (C,T,Q) goals, including one (1) in a Global capacity. Prior experience managing or coaching / mentoring less experienced team members. Bachelors of Science in Engineering or Business Administration. Masters of Business Administration favorable. Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification favorable. Business / Finance and Engineering acumen. Experience in Product Life Cycle (PLM) / Product Data Management (PDM) tools. Proficient in MS Office, including MS Project or equivalent. Strong analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills. Commanding / efficient communication and interpersonal skills with ability to manage diverse internal and external customers,co-workers and varying levels of management. Excellent conflict resolution and active listening skills required. Ability to lead and negotiate solutions that balance technical capability and cost / timing in accordance with business need. Highly self-motivated with the ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and manage changing priorities.
