Supply Chain Coordinator- Customer Facing

nnPosition Summary: Plan, requistion and expedite materials and production while following approved procedures. Contribute to meeting the Shape Measureables. nnEssential Job Functions include, but not limited to, the following: nn n* nnScheduling: n* nnUpdate daily/weekly delivery schedules n* nnMaintain system forecasts n* nnIssue Kanban releases including special run kanban labels and update board on the production floor accordingly n* nnMaintain and manage all special run requests n* nnIssue supplier delivery schedules daily for subcontractor deliveries to customers n* nnInventory: n* nnMaterial requirements planning ensuring raw materials and components are available n* nnMonitor raw steel/component inventory and send releases to suppliers n* nnRequisition of raw material, and purchase components n* nnProduction: n* nnMonitor production n* nnNotify manufacturing of customer order changes, as appropriate n* nnSupport and maintain increase inventory turns and report at DMAIC n* nnSet schedules for subcontractors n* nnAttend and participate in production meetings n* nnShipping: n* nnSupport EDI/ASN orders, forecasts and failures n* nnSet loads for shipment, daily n* nnCustomer: n* nnMaintain courteous, effective customer contact regarding orders/forecasts and coordinate solutions when necessary n* nnMonitor and maintain customer systems including Order/Forecast screens as required n* nnSMART, DDL screens at scheduled window times, along with Bulletin Board n* nnSupport Program Teams as necessary. n* nnManage all Plex related steps for EC changes (Customer PO updates, related jobs, maintaining ECL rev level releases and EDI data). n* nnIdentify and train a back-up(s) to manage key tasks when absent. n* nnAdditional functions not specifically outlined in this position description as directed by the leader. nnnnnnPosition Skills and Experience Requirements:nnTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty effectively.
