Shape Corp. is excited to introduce and welcome Meredith Glass as the organization’s new Vice President of Global Sales. In this role, Glass will report directly to president and CEO Mark White, and will be joining Shape’s executive leadership council.
Glass joins Shape from Schaeffler, a global automotive and industrial supplier, where she held an assortment of positions, including numerous key roles within engineering, sales, program management, and finance. Glass’ most recent position was Senior Vice President Global Key Account Management in which she managed Schaeffler’s global business with General Motors, including customer satisfaction, operations, growth, and strategy.
Leading up to that, Glass immersed herself in a variety of critical company functions which provided a broad view of the organization. Her foundational education and experience in engineering strengthened her ability to sell, launch products, and manage projects with a unique edge. Five years in a controller role increased her financial acumen, supporting her continued success in sales and account management.
Her years of leadership and diverse background complement the existing sales and program management structure at Shape while adding new value. In her new role, Glass will drive sustained improvements in the global sales and program management function. Primary responsibilities include aligning the team’s efforts with Shape’s overall corporate strategy, prioritizing business pursuits, increasing program launch effectiveness, strategic decision making on resource allocation for high customer value, and global growth. Glass looks forward to being a part of the Shape Family expressing, “Shape has a very special mix of historical culture, talented people, innovation, and customer respect that has led to tremendous success. I am excited about Shape’s future and looking forward to joining the team.”
